MINUTES OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON Monday 14^th October at Ramsgill Village Village Hall 7.30pm

1. PRESENT Cllr S. Ramsden Cllr D. Fothergill, Cllr R Harker, Cllr D Verity, Cllr. A Challis, Cllr A Sykes, Cllr J Carter, County Cllr A Murday and Clerk Mr Alan Bean and one Parishioner

2. APOLOGIES Cllr M Wells, Cllr J Graham

3. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING Proposed Cllr D. Fothergill, Seconded Cllr R Harker

4. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

5. LOFTHOUSE SCHOOL Still waiting for information for ownership of the school

6. MATTERS ARISING Sykes bank has been sorted for drainage Cllr David Verity, David Graham and and Stephen Ramsden fitted new pipes. It was agreed by the councillors to contribute to the cost of this. The councillors agreed to £380 plus vat.

7. COUNCILLORS REPORTS Cllr A Murday reported that boundary changes for 2027 for the council divisions are not affecting this parish council

8. FIRE STATION Training is taking place at Summerbridge.

9. STREET LIGHTS Stean Light and removal of old base has yet to be completed.

10. VILLAGE ISSUES Ramsgill bridge to Lofthouse and near dyke needs a flood sign.

11. PARKING NEAR RESERVOIR None

12. HIGHWAYS Hedges will be due to be cut in by landowners

13. PLAYGROUNDS nothing to report

14. PARISH CARETAKER nothing to report, no bill received recently

15. PLANNING APPLICATIONS none

16. COMMUTED SUMS .Glasdoor has beensent payment but yet to send bench. Clerk chasing

17. MILLENIUM MARQUEE After the recent damage, the cricket club is donating towards the costs
