Annual Accounts and audit

The council is Audited each year, and any member of the public can request to see these accounts.

As with any accounts, you will be permitted to look at them but not remove them from the parish council.

Parish accounts cover the day-to-day running of the council, spending done in the community etc.

The minutes of each meeting also include a breakdown of the expenditure of the council, bank balances etc but don’t include the assets of the council, which is available, as with the accounts, on request.

As you would expect, this will be subject to the timing and availability of the clerk.
