Is the Tour De Yorkshire returning to our area?

In 2018 the Tour De Yorkshire is due to return to very near Upper Nidderdale, passing through Pateley Bridge and a number of Towns and Villages in our area.

If you are into cycling, in 2017 our area was one of the highlights of the tour, and is now a major place for cyclists to use, going through Lofthouse and Ramsgill. The roads are a lot less congested than the 2018 route, but offer outstanding views and  for the more adventurous cyclist, it includes some of the best inclines from the route in 2017
