MINUTES OF 2018-19 MEETING

Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting 2019 was approved June 2019

PARISH CHAIRMAN, REPORT Cllr R Watson gave his report. In his report , which a copy of the report is on file with the Parish Clerk, he talked about the reintroduction of the Fire Service, Thansk was goven to Mr S Bean and the volunteers for their help on getting this sorted. CCTV introduced and woring to help catch local criminals. The cycle race being cancelled and the introduction of the mobile post office. He aso discussed the trouble caused through lack of am active caretaker.

COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLOR REPORT County Councillor Stan Lumley wasn’t present so was unable to deliver a report

MILLENIUM MARQUEE REPORT Cllr Fothergill gave his report. He stated the marquee has reached a point where its condition is not suitable for most events.

MINUTES OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON Monday 13^th July 2020 Middlesmoor Village Hall at 7.30pm

This was the first meeting held since Lock down occurred

MATTERS ARISING
COUNCILLORS REPORTS Cllr J Graham forwarded a message stating the road to Ramsgill in collapsing. It looks like the soil has been warn away under the road, causing the start of a collapse near the edge.
TELEPHONE BOXES
FIRE STATION Garages next to Fire station are going to be removed, with possibilities for a replacement building in the future
RIGHTS OF WAY Nothing to report
CCTV . Nothing to report
STREET LIGHTS Currently all working however it was noted an Orange light can clearly be seen from Stean. The Chair has agreed to look into this.
RAMSGILL Ramsgill church wall is looking unsightly. Councillors are going to talk to church about this. Yorke Arms is now closed as a hotel and restaurant. It is said to be going to be used as a function venue, weddings etc.
HIGHWAYS Covered with councillor report.
PLAYGROUNDS REPORT Report received
PARISH CARETAKER The council is looking for a replacement. There are issues with saplings, and gulleys.
PLANNING APPLICATIONS None
COMMUTED SUMS Ongoing.
PRECEPT Nothing to report
MILLENIUM MARQUEE It was agreed, while lock down is effecting the possible usage, this is a great time to get long needed repairs done to the Marquee. Cllr D Fothergill agreed with Cllr S Ramsden to get the marquee transported and left with the marquee specialists. Council all agreed this needed doing.
