MINUTES OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON Monday 9th at Middlesmoor Village Hall at 7.30pm

  1. PRESENT Cllr R Watson (Chairman), Cllr J Graham, Cllr A Sykes, Cllr D Fothergill, Cllr S Ramsden, Cllr B Harrison, Cllr M Wells,

  6. COUNCILLORS REPORTS None

  7. TELEPHONE BOXES Harrogate Borough Council has put to BT that the telephone boxes in Lofthouse and Ramsgill need to remain due to low signal in the area.

  8. FIRE STATION Most volunteers have had initial training. Some have had Blues training. Work is now happening to improve the Fire station

  9. RIGHTS OF WAY Nothing to report

  10. CCTV . Nothing to report

  11. STREET LIGHTS Lofthouse and Ramsgill street lights have been fixed. Middlesmoor has had 4 reported.

  12. RAMSGILL Signage has been stolen from the green. Fallen tree has still to be removed.

  13. HIGHWAYS Reservoir wall has deteriated. North Yorkshire say its Yrkshire Waters responsibility. The Chair is going to contact them. There is a belief from the Parish Council that it is due to a drain collapse under the road.

  14. PLAYGROUNDS REPORT Lofthouse fencing is in need of repair. Due to lack of caretaker working, after qotes received, the council agreed to get a contractor in to replace and repair the fence. Quote received is for £765.50
