MINUTES OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON Monday 11th March 2024 at Middlesmoor Village Hall 7.30pm

  1. PRESENT Cllr S Ramsden, Cllr D. Fothergill,, Cllr A Sykes, Cllr J Carter,, Cllr M Wells County Cllr A Murday and Clerk Mr Alan Bean

  4. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

  5. LOFTHOUSE SCHOOL County Councillor A Murday has pushed for the school to be continued. This will be studied by by the scrutiny committee on the 17th April

  6. MATTERS ARISING Nothing

  7. COUNCILLORS REPORTS .Cllr A Murday brought up the fact that footpaths seem to be in a bad state. He did add that North Yorksire Council, who normally pay to National Parks, have decided this year to stop paying. He also stated the sign at Wath Lane isn’t up yet, but he is chasing this. .

  8. FIRE STATION Nothing to report

  9. STREET LIGHTS The Bridge at Ramsgill has the lighting down.

  10. VILLAGE ISSUES The future of the band room is under discussion. This isnt something the council has anything to do with.

  11. PARKING NEAR RESERVOIR None

  12. HIGHWAYS The drainage covers in a few locations have come off due to the level of rain recently

  13. PLAYGROUNDS Nothing to report

  14. PARISH CARETAKER nothing to report
