MATTERS ARISING In a separate meeting of 6 councillors, discussions were made about the future of Nidderdale. Conversations were about Schooling, Transport and also about affordable housing and how the Parish council has been ignored in these areas in the past.

COUNCILLORS REPORTS Cllr A Murday reported on the Boundaries for Wharfedale and Upper Nidderdale.

FIRE STATION Still needing recruits

STREET LIGHTS .No 6 light in Middlesmoor needs reinstating. North Yorkshire Council is believed to be replacing lights in Lofthouse with LEDs.

VILLAGE ISSUES Nothing new to report

PARKING NEAR RESERVOIR None

HIGHWAYS The Wath bridge has had a weight limit sign added to it. According to Cllr A Murday, a width sign is in the process of being added . The council pointed out adding it to the bridge wasn’t ideal, and it needs to be before people go down to the bridge and getting stuck at the bridge.

26/00379/FUL Extension Covill Houses Farm The Council Objects on grounds the glass frontage not in keeping with the national landscape and surround properties

PINFOLD The Pinfold’s, although not used regularly, have been used occasionally over the past 20 years. The council discussed the possible rental of the Pinfold to people wanting to use it.

CORRESPONDENCE A letter was received from the Secret Agents youth club, thanking for the help received

ACCOUNTS Ramsgill village hall hasn’t received their cheques. Having checked they weren’t cashed, new cheques were agreed to be issued
