MATTERS ARISING The notice boards have been repaired

COUNCILLORS REPORTS Cllr Murday informed the council that Nidderdale Strategic Partnership is now up and running.

LOFTHOUSE SCHOOL Cllr S Ramsden has forwarded details of the Lazenby Trust to North Yorkshire Council. The members of the public were also able to inform the council there is now potential issues with the play area, and that the Secretary of State will need to consider the covenant on this area, and who funds from it should go to. This is according to a discussion with Nick Cotton. The discussion also went on to consider what the Lazenby Trust is actually worth, regarding the ground within the school building. It was decided that Lofthouse AGM which occurs in a few days, would be informed of this update on the playground area. It was also asked by the public why funds held by Middlesmoor village hall had wasn’t publicly known. It was also pointed out that village halls were often empty, unlike years ago. It was agreed the council is to follow up with Nick Cotton on what is happening.

PARISH CARETAKER Bridge Inn onwards hedges needs cutting back for safety reasons

PLANNING APPLICATIONS 25/02281/FUL Heat Pump – The council neither supports or is against however did state it would be better at ground level and at front elevation
